Dual emergency stop pull cord switch XY2CED from Telemecanique. The dual emergency stop pull cord switches XY2CED are designed to reduce the risk of injury to individuals and damage to machines or production products. These dual pull cord switches have double anchoring points and can handle installations with brackets and pulleys up to 2 x 100 m. They can be activated by a single movement from a person when a normal emergency stop function is not available and will also trigger if the release wire breaks.

Features and benefits: The switches are equipped with forced opening contacts, with the activation of the switch occurring through forced operation. The switch locks in the triggered position (normally open safety contacts). The normally closed contact is only for signaling. Includes a reset button that allows the safety contacts to be closed again. Restarting the machine must only be done by manually operating a control device within the machine's start circuit, which is located at some distance from the release wire switch. The recommended distance between cable holders is 15 m.
