The XCS-DMC is a coded hazardous area magnetic safety switch suitable for use in potentially explosive dusty or gaseous environments. It is designed for safety applications such as machines with small guards or covers, packaging machines, and food and beverage processing facilities. This switch is approved for use in ATEX zones 0-1-2 and 20-21-22 and can be used with XPS-DMB safety relays. It features protection modes mb, tD, and ia, making it suitable for category 4/PLe circuits (EN ISO 13849-1). The device has a pre-wired connection and a degree of protection rated at IP66 and IP67.
