This inductive proximity sensor OsiSense XS features a PPS sensor surface and a nickel-plated brass housing. It has a switching distance of 8 mm, an NPN output with NO function, and comes pre-wired (2 m cable). The supply voltage ranges from 12 to 48 VDC. The inductive proximity switch with cylindrical thread for general applications can be flush mounted and offers an increased detection range. Thanks to its external thread and twin nuts, it can be mounted directly on a flat surface or at an angle, and it is CSA and UL certified. The corrosion-resistant and non-magnetic nickel-plated brass connection provides magnetic shielding for the sensor, resulting in higher accuracy and resistance to magnetic interference. A canceled LED allows for easy display, setup, and troubleshooting of the sensor status. The protection according to IP65 and IP68 makes this product suitable for the harshest environments. It can operate in very cold (-25 °C) and warm environments (+70 °C). The double insulation provides better protection for people and systems against electric shocks.
