When the vehicle is parked and the driver has exited and locked it, the included remote control activates the car alarm TX-100. If an unauthorized person attempts to gain access to the vehicle, a loud alarm signal of 110 dB will sound upon entry into the vehicle's interior, deterring the intruder. If the car alarm is tampered with by the intruder, the alarm will continue to sound thanks to the built-in battery, which allows for a standby time of up to 6 days. The alarm will sound for a maximum of 2 minutes and can only be deactivated using the included remote control. While the alarm is armed, the cigarette lighter essentially serves only as an "alarm holder," without drawing power from the car battery. When the vehicle is started, the integrated battery of the car alarm recharges through the cigarette lighter during the drive (3-4 hours charging time).
