The Ascent is a solo and co-op action shooter RPG set in Veles, a densely packed cyberpunk world. Welcome to the Arcology of the Ascent Group, a self-contained, corporate-run metropolis that stretches high into the sky and is filled with creatures from across the galaxy. You play as a worker, enslaved by the company that owns you and everyone else in your district. One day, while you are sent on a routine mission to utilize your skills with a cyberdeck, you suddenly find yourself caught in a whirlwind of catastrophic events.

Solo or Co-op: Play the entire game alone or team up with up to three friends in local or online co-op.

Explosive Shooter: Aim low or high, switch weapons, and equip deadly gadgets, take cover, and use the destructible environments to your advantage, adapting your tactics as you face new enemies.

RPG Elements: Customize your character with cyberware that suits your playstyle. Assign new skill points as you level up and experiment with different augmentations to defeat your enemies in new creative ways.
