Simply tap the sun and moon icons on the aperture ring to switch between click and de-click mode. This offers artistic freedom and fine control in a variety of shooting situations.

The large aperture improves low-light performance and makes it easier to capture well-exposed images in difficult lighting conditions, such as indoors or when shooting at night. A smaller DOF ensures a blurred background and better separation of subject and background.

With 1 piece of ED, 2 pieces of HRI and 1 piece of aspherical glass at 28 mm, 3 pieces of HRI and 1 piece of aspherical glass at 35 mm, the image quality remains clear even at close range at wide apertures and the transition from the centre to the edge is smooth.
