TI-CBL 2™ Calculator Based Laboratory System 2

The user-friendly, universally applicable data acquisition system for natural sciences and mathematics is compatible with TI graphing calculators and computer algebra systems (CAS). Three sensors are included with the purchase: light, temperature, and voltage sensors.

Key features: The built-in flash memory allows for the installation of additional software applications, upgrading the operating system, and storing results from various experiments. The analysis software integrated into the CBL 2™ can be transferred to the TI graphing calculator at the push of a button. It automatically recognizes the standard sensors, allowing measurements to begin without further intervention. If desired, data can also be collected separately from the calculator using so-called auto-ID sensors. When these are later reconnected to the calculator or computer, the data can be easily retrieved and analyzed. Up to 12,000 data points (depending on the device's memory) can be collected at a rate of up to 50,000 data points per second. Four channels are available for data collection.

The CBL 2™ is compatible with all TI graphing calculators and computer algebra systems. Except for the TI-92 Plus and the Voyage™ 200, a holder is available for all models that allows the calculator and CBL to be connected into a portable unit. The CBL 2 is compatible with TI-82, TI-83, TI-83 Plus, TI-84 Plus, TI-84 Plus Silver Edition, TI-84+ CET-, TI-89, TI-89 Titanium, TI-92, TI-92 Plus, and Voyage™ 200.
