The Vertiv Avocent MergePoint IQ Server Interface Module is designed for use with KVM-over-IP switches. This cable connects to the Autoview and MergePoint Unity KVM switches via a standard CAT5 cable and provides a VGA video and USB 2.0 interface for connecting to the server. The cable allows the administrator to use virtual media for remote ISO uploads and troubleshooting, and also supports Smartcard/CAC authentication. A cable is required for each server connected to the KVM switch.
