Tradition and Vic Firth Style

The American Classic® series combines tradition with Vic Firth style. The Classics are turned from select hickory wood, a dense material with minimal flex for a pronounced sound. Hickory also withstands heavy impacts, making it very durable.

Only Vic Firth produces injection-molded nylon tips. This allows Vic Firth to guarantee that the nylon tips stay on the stick. The injection-molded nylon is specifically designed for high impact resistance and durability - the wood is more likely to break than the nylon tip.
