To meet this demand, Weidmüller offers a wide portfolio of connectors for free assembly. Plugs and sockets for free assembly for M8, M12, M16 and 7/8" connections are very robust and ideally suited for mechanical engineering, for example. There are 4 different connection technologies to choose from for M12 connectors. The screw connection is characterized by its versatility. With this technology, the conductor, optionally with wire end ferrules, is inserted into connection elements and fixed by means of a screw. It is the classic and most cost-effective connection technology, which also makes multi-conductor connections possible.
