The Last Worker is an immersive narrative adventure centered around the final struggle of a lone worker in an increasingly automated world. It is a unique blend of work simulation and strategic stealth gameplay.
The game takes place in a lonely, oppressive yet strangely beautiful environment, featuring characters designed by comic legend Mick McMahon.
Kurt works for the world's largest retailer and must choose between capitalism and activism. After dedicating his life to work, Kurt's loyalty is put to the test when a group of activists asks him to dismantle Jüngle from the inside.
Aboard his company-issued flying JünglePod and armed with his multifunctional JüngleGun, Kurt dispatches countless products from a logistics center the size of the sunken city of Manhattan.
Kurt (voiced by Ólafur Darri Ólafsson) has devoted his life to Jüngle, with only his co-bot Skew (Jason Isaacs) keeping him company. But when SPEAR, a group of activists, asks Kurt to help dismantle Jüngle from within, he is forced to uncover the dark sides of his employer.
The Last Worker delivers an emotional, thought-provoking, and inspiring story with rich characters, voiced by an all-star cast including Jason Isaacs, Ólafur Darri Ólafsson, Clare-Hope Ashitey, David Hewlett, Zelda Williams, and Tommie Earl Jenkins.
