The Personnel Grounding Tester PGT®120 checks the personnel grounding resistances for wrist grounding and shoe grounding for access monitoring of electrostatically protected areas (EPAs). The test results are indicated visually and acoustically. An additional potential-free contact allows for the connection of a door opener. The power supply is provided via an integrated battery or a plug-in power supply. The testing of wrist grounding as well as the right and left shoe can be performed simultaneously through separate measurement circuits. In conjunction with personnel access control systems, the shoe measurement can be conducted in "series connection" mode without the need to press the touch plate (Hands-Free mode).
