3. Panasonic 8-18mm f/2.8-4.0 ASPH.
This new zoom lens from the Leica DG Vario-Elmarit F2.8-4.0 series offers a very dynamic focal length range for photography and videography, from 16 mm ultra-wide angle to 36 mm. It is well-suited for landscapes and architectural shots as well as for demanding available-light photography. Like all lenses in the new series, it features Panasonic's Nano surface coating to suppress any reflections and ghosting. The lenses in the new series also boast a robust, metal construction that is dust and splash resistant, and they are frost-proof down to -10 degrees Celsius, making them suitable for professional use even in harsh conditions. Additionally, this new lens is recommended for video recording. The focus motor is compatible with the high-speed precision contrast AF system of the current LUMIX G cameras, allowing for data exchange at up to 240 frames per second. It also contributes to smooth focusing movements. The internal focusing operates particularly quietly. Furthermore, there is an exceptionally stable lens guidance during zooming, which ensures a steady video image. Additionally, the safety of the AF tracking function during zooming is enhanced thanks to high-speed single-frame analysis in focus control.
4. Panasonic Lumix S Pro 70-200mm f/4 O.I.S.
Equipped with 23 lens elements in 17 groups, including various special lenses such as an aspherical lens and three ED lenses, the Lumix S Pro telephoto zoom delivers high-resolution and high-contrast images across the entire zoom range. It is therefore suitable for a wide range of shooting situations from portraits to dynamic sports scenes. Like the 50mm fixed focal length, the focussing offers a focus clutch mechanism. It also starts from a distance of just one metre. The lens is also Arca Swiss and teleconverter compatible. The filter has a diameter of 77mm and the lens is equipped with nine blades for a practically circular aperture.
