The Samyang AF 35-150mm F2.0-2.8 FE is an all-in-one zoom lens with extremely high light intensity for Sony E-Mount cameras. It is an absolute all-rounder, covering the five most common focal lengths in one lens (35 mm, 50 mm, 85 mm, 135 mm, and 150 mm). It impresses with its high-quality aluminum construction, and the metal protection inside the lens offers special safeguarding. With the Samyang autofocus, which is integrated into all new Samyang lenses, it is particularly fast and quiet, even when filming.
The zoom lens features a modern and professional setup: two Focus Hold buttons for added convenience while shooting and filming (easily accessible in both portrait and landscape orientations), an AF/MF switch for quick switching between autofocus and manual focus, as well as a Custom Switch with three individually programmable functions. For architectural photographers, it is a must-have. The Samyang 24 mm F 3.5 T/S for Sony E-Mount offers a wealth of creative possibilities to enhance your images. 9. Samyang 100mm f/2.8 ED UMC, Sony E
The Samyang 100 mm macro lens is a classic portrait focal length and at the same time it delivers wonderful close-ups.
Used on the APS-C camera, it produces an angle of view of 15.4°, which is roughly equivalent to the image impression of a 150 mm lens. The very practical speed of 2.8 does not change. It not only provides an extremely bright viewfinder, but also the possibility of cropping through the smallest depth of field. The lens is very well corrected and convinces with a very high and distortion-free imaging performance. Of course, all lens surfaces are multi-coated to increase the contrast of the images and to avoid reflections if necessary. Everything is rounded off by a precise mechanism and clearly latching aperture values in a high-quality metal mount. Manual focusing moves comfortably and easily.
The lens is equipped with internal focusing. Lens groups are shifted internally, the overall length of the optics does not change, nor does the front mount rotate when focusing. Graduated and polarizing filters can therefore be easily attached (size 67 mm). 15 lens elements in 12 groups are evidence of an enormous effort to obtain a very good performing optic. Despite the medium image angle, hardly any aberrations are visible even at full aperture.
