The peak rectifier of the SecuLoad - N employs the standard-recommended rectifier diode 1N4007. This diode is a mains rectifier diode and is inherently suitable only for voltage sources with low pulse frequencies in the range of mains frequency or for voltage sources with conventional transformers.
However, there are welding machines on the market that use pulsed voltage sources with significantly higher pulse frequencies. These can generate switching pulses with high voltages that are not fully captured by the peak rectifier of the SecuLoad - N. The voltage output from the SecuLoad - N may be significantly lower than the peak values in the output voltage of the welding machine.
