5. RØDE Psa1
The PSA1 is a studio boom arm designed for radio, television, studio, and home use. It offers a horizontal reach of 820 mm and a vertical reach of 840 mm, as well as a swivel range of 360°. The boom arm comes with Velcro straps for cable management, a desk clamp (for a maximum thickness of 55 mm), and a mount for a recessed desk holder (maximum supported thickness: 70 mm). Although the PSA1 was developed for the RØDE Procaster and Podcaster, it is also suitable for other microphones weighing between 700 g and 1.1 kg, which will require a shock mount. The PSM1 shock mount is available as optional accessory.
