We have our player connected to the power supply in continuous operation and coupled with our Alcatel telephone system. It contains the music on hold for our callers. And it has been running since Nov. '15

1) The player must be started manually after switching on, but it continues at the last position.
2) As already described, the player can be operated permanently via USB cable (e.g. music-on-hold telephone system).

the player does not run automatically. it should not be necessary to connect the player to the power supply. it has a capacity of approx. 20 hours.
