When did you pre-order the PS5? Date? If on 17.09. at night, then you would have had a great chance of getting one. I was in the shop early in the morning on 17.09. (approx. 8.00 a.m.) and pre-ordered one, unfortunately I was a few minutes too late, because on 18.09. Digitec sent me an email saying that I was not in the first wave.
Your colleague was just lucky, a few companies were still supplied but it's like playing the lottery, good luck with it.... Digitec can't be blamed for anything...
