The Apple LED Cinema Display from 2010 has a mini display port connection. A simple adapter or a dock with mini display port fits.

Maybe a new screen makes more sense than Fr 55 for an adapter like this for a 1999 screen?
Those with IPS panels and UHD resolution are available from around Fr 300, plus USB-C to Displayport cable.
Screens with a USB-C connection/input can even charge the MacBook Pro, for example, but are more expensive.
