According to the description, the minimum requirement is a 1.6 GHz processor. Does Office 365 Home also work with the new MacBook Air 2020 with the Intel Core i3 and the 1.10 GHz?

Yes, it works perfectly - I've been using it for a long time on the 2015 and 2017 versions of the Macbook 12", which also only have a 1.1Ghz to 1.3Ghz processor. The performance is completely sufficient. Of course, you have to be patient when opening Excel, for example. But that's not bad.
