And why does the description say it's a 23.6 inch and the specifications say it's a 24 inch monitor? Does that make a big difference at all (23.6 - 24 inches)?

Helpful answer
1 inch = 2.54 cm
24 inch - 23.6 inch = 0.4 inch = 1.02 cm

Now you know exactly how much the difference is - it's a simple calculation :)

And about 24" vs 23.6": while laptops have various size categories with decimal places (15.6", 13.3" etc.), 21.5", 22", 23", 24" etc. are common for large displays. are common. Why? No idea, but that's the way it is. This is not only the case at digitec, but even with manufacturers who market a 23.6" monitor as 24".
