Are colour prints on normal A4 paper faded and with little colour, or do they have a quality comparable to a normal laser or inkjet printer? I have had the opportunity to look at an Hp smarttank but the result is not the best, the colour is very dull. Thank you.

The colours are certainly somewhat paler than on a laser printer or an inkjet printer that specialises in photo printing on photo paper. But the prints look good on photo paper.

I never print on photo paper. On normal paper, the photo prints are better than with my previous inkjet printers. What's more, the ink is smudge-proof and even highlighters don't do much damage to it.
The resolution of the fonts is also better than anything I've had before.
