Are these VR glasses compatible with the Huawei Mate 9 as the screen is 5.9 and the glasses only go up to 5.5?

I am using it with a LG V10 , which is 5.8" one tik more should still be fine. the length should be fine the width is really at the limit though. as I am likely to buy a new Samsung I will be switching to the Gear VR, if you are interested in the Zeiss VR you can contact me on 0798141103.
