Basically, a MacBook but also a notebook with Windows (in my case a Lenovo X380) can be connected directly to the screen via the same cable. Image transmission and power supply work without any problems in both cases = no docking station is needed. Does anyone have a solution for the following "flaw"? With the Mac, the transmission of the mouse/keyboard signal also works (USB dongle is plugged into one of the two ports on the back of the screen) - with the Lenovo, the USB dongle has to be removed and plugged into a USB port of the notebook.

Hello, it seems that the Lenovo does not bring enough power via the USB-C.
