Bass rolls over quickly. Does anyone else have this problem? With very bass-heavy music, the bass overflows immediately unless you listen relatively quietly. Do I have a defective device?

I had the same problem and sent the unit in. I got a new one thanks to the warranty and since then the problem has been solved.
