Question about Pure Highway 400

Before the definitive installation of the Highway 400, I did a function test and it worked tip-top. When I def. installed it according to the instructions and then tried it out, I had poor reception with strong noise. But when I touch the housing of the antenna, the reception is great. Can anyone tell me why this is happening and what I can do about it? I should also mention that the adapter and antenna are connected to FM.

I also had the same problem. Before the installation I had great reception and after the installation (exactly according to the installation instructions), the reception was bad. When I removed the earth cable, the reception was great again!

I also had the same problem. In my MB GLK 220 CDI the Pure works perfectly, in the Smart fortwo I had the result you described. I sent the radio back.
