Can an additional / external microphone, e.g. table microphone, be connected to the Conference Cam via USB cable in order to achieve good reception even in meeting rooms with longer tables?

No you can't.
In any case, there is no connection. However, sound reception is good even at a greater distance (4-5 mtr.).
