Can anyone here explain the height restriction? A drone is allowed to fly a maximum of 120 metres above the ground (https://www.safedroneflying.aero/de/drohnen-guide/drohnen-regeln). In other words, if the terrain rises, according to the FOCA it is also possible to follow the terrain, even if the starting point is below 120 metres. In other words, I fly up a mountain. Take off at 1000m and land at 1200m. This is possible as long as I follow the terrain with the drone (as if I were flying along the hiking trail). How does DJI regulate this? DJI only allows a maximum of 120m. Does DJI only measure the starting point and in my example I only reach a maximum of 1120m or does the height limit follow the terrain? Based on the GPS position, the software could calculate the height above ground. Unfortunately, I can't find any information on this.

The 120 limit is calculated from the take-off point, regardless of the surrounding terrain....
It won't be possible to take off at an altitude of 1000m and land at 1200m, even if it's close to the ground...
There is a way of 'jumping' the 120m limit and extending it to 500m (with the risks that this entails....)

Dji calculates the ground height from the take-off point. In practice, it's difficult to respect the maximum altitude of 120m because the only indication of altitude is from the take-off point.
When using the tracking function, the 120m is in my opinion insufficient in the mountains.
By cancelling the C0 classification of the dji mini 4 pro, it is possible to remove this 120m limit and increase it to 500m.
