Can anyone recommend the headphones as a headset for PC gaming and for playing bass-heavy music? Thank you very much for your opinions.

You can take off the microphone and the cable is about 1m long without the USB sound card. It's very comfortable and the sound quality is unbeatable for a gamer headset at this price. I used to have Sennheiser hi-fi headphones and was rather suspicious of gamer headsets, but this one won me over.
I would recommend the Beyerdynamics Custom One Pro. You can adjust the sound characteristics / bass in 3 stages. It's very comfortable to wear for several hours. And you can, as I did, run it through a USB surround plug such as the Roccat Kulo or Logitech G430 (both stereo "gaming" headsets, the surround only comes through the plug). This way you can even precisely estimate where the opponent is walking around. I've been through everything (Roccat Kulo, Logitech G930, G35, G430, etc.) and have now been with the Custom One Pro for over 2 years and it lasts, doesn't squeak, doesn't break, and if something should break, which apart from the ear pad hasn't been the case so far, you can buy every single part and don't have to buy a new headset straight away like with Logitech if something is defective.
