The second side of the film is 'matt' and is great against reflections. However, I find that this side offers slightly less privacy protection than the first side. So I use the glossy privacy film when I'm out and about (almost every day) and the matt side against reflections at work. As the film sticks to the small magnetic strips (attached to the computer, supplied), the pages can be changed in seconds. Hope that helps :)

The product you have selected has a magnetic attachment and holds very well when the magnets are mounted according to the instructions.
The 1st side is the shiny side. This is perfect for everyday use both outdoors and indoors.
If the screen is exposed to direct sunlight, we would recommend the 2nd side. The matt side. The picture is a little darker here, but if the brightness on the screen is switched up a little, you can see everything perfectly again.
The matt side is more resistant to reflections. However, you can decide which side is better for you in sunlight depending on how you feel.
The privacy filter reduces reflection in any case.
Both sides have the perfect privacy screen on top.
The sides can be changed in seconds. Simply detach them from the magnets, turn them round and attach them again.
For a perfect view, we recommend cleaning the filter regularly. Simply hold it under the tap and dry the 2 sides again with the enclosed microfibre cloth or a dry cloth.

I agree with mirjschba. On the other hand, the brightness of the screen is strongly absorbed by the film. If your screen isn't already too bright, this could cause you problems in bright situations.
