Can I also connect the HyperX to a smartphone and listen to music on a plane, for example? Especially with noise cancelling function?

However, the headphones must be operated by cable as far as I know. Unless I've read something over. The noise cancelling will work when the battery in the headset is charged because the noise cancelling runs on it.
