the mouse has no charging cable, it runs on battery (or a rechargeable AA cell).

I used the mouse without the cable, but I noticed that the cable didn't work properly, but as I used it wirelessly, it didn't bother me. I bought a new one (different brand) in the meantime, after one it gave up the ghost. I was not convinced by the quality. I hope it helps. best regards, tummy.
