Can I connect another wireless speaker with HEOS function to this system? In other words, the two supplied speakers via cable plus another via HEOS? And if so, do I have to start the HEOS app every time I want to use the system or is it possible without the app? (And I don't mean for setting up or configuring. It's ok if this is only possible via the app).

Yes, you can connect additional wireless speakers with HEOS function to the Denon CEOL N12 DAB compact system. To use this speaker, you need to start the app.
