It works with the newer version, the Switchbot Hub 2 (also available from Digitec). You can then specify the individual Switchbot devices in the hub and they will then appear in Apple HomeKit. I don't have a Homepod Mini. But I can now see the Switchbot devices in Apple Homekit on my iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch.

No, that doesn't work directly. One possibility would be via Siri Shorcuts or as a workaround homebridge with switchbot plugin.
