Can I reply to WhatsApp messages, for example, when I am outside and the mobile phone stays at home? If so, how? Do I need to have a separate sim card in the Gear or does it work without one?

Helpful answer

The watch does not have a SIM card. Therefore, the mobile phone must always be in the vicinity (Bluetooth connected) so that you can read / write messages.
