Can I switch the radio on and off automatically with a separate timer? I need it for an animal house so that they have a certain noise level. That's why the radio needs to work automatically.

No, unfortunately this is not possible. The radio runs as long as the battery has power. If you pull out the power plug (USB C) or switch it off with the timer, the radio will continue to run until the battery is empty. Switching on is also only possible via the power button.
