Question about HP Thunderbolt Dock G2

Can I use the docking station "HP Thunderbolt Dock 120W G2" for the "MS Surface Pro X" (https://www.hp.com/ch-de/shop/product.aspx?id=2UK37AA&opt=UUZ&sel=ACC) or will I damage the Surface laptop in terms of input/output? I am not familiar with these input/output specifications or cannot make heads or tails of them. Thank you for clarification/support.

Yes, it works. The docking station supplies up to 100 watts. Your notebook needs 60 watts. You cannot damage your notebook. The two devices talk to each other about the power supply.
