I don't see anything that would speak against it at the moment. I have the hub on my Mac Mini M1 at home. Please note - the hub has its own power connection and is therefore not really "portable". But as a permanently mounted workstation with accessories etc. it should work.

Unfortunately, I cannot answer this question because I do not own an iPAD PRO M1 and therefore cannot check it.
