Question about Fitbit Alta HR
Can the Alta HR record movement patterns / distances? For example, when I jog, can it record the distance I have covered so that I can display it on my smartphone?

The fitbit Alta HR does not include a GPS tracker, but there is an app from Fitbit itself to record your distance. However, you need to take your smartphone with you on your jog and have the GPS function turned on.
