Can the device scan double pages? In other words, can it scan front and back pages automatically without manual intervention (i.e. turning the page by hand)?

The device cannot scan double pages automatically. It has an automatic document feeder, but does not support duplex scanning. You have to turn the pages manually to scan both sides.
