Depending on the device, you may need an adapter for the microphone connection, e.g. for the iPhone from Lightning to 3.5 mm (also available from Rode and works well).
Tip: be sure to order an adapter from 3 to 4-pin 3.5 mm adapter, then it works for practically all devices with 3.5 mm input.

I use it with an iphone xr simply with a Lightning jack adapter.... and a Rode special cable - see youtube videos on this

You can use them with almost anything. The 3.5mm jack connection is compatible with practically everything that concerns sound (except XLR because of phantom power).
