Can these speakers be coupled with the Sony HT-CT800 soundbar ('multisound')? And do they have to be switched on manually or do they wake up automatically from sleep mode when the soundbar is started?

Yes, the speakers can be coupled with the soundbar to form a surround system. They wake up automatically from standby when the soundbar is switched on.
