Can this docking station, e.g. with item no. 6189168, also be used with an HP Elitebook 850 G3 which does not yet have USB C? If not, what would be a reasonable alternative to use the Elitebook 850 G3 and a Dell Latitude E7480 on the same docking station?

This is a USB-C docking station, so it only works with USB-C devices. However, we do not currently offer docking stations that can connect two notebooks.
