The lens can be used with a Nikon DSLR with APS-C sensor (DX). It should be noted, however, that due to the shorter sensor distance, the focal length of the lens must be converted. Thus, the 200-500 mm on a full-frame camera with the D7200 corresponds to a 300-750 mm lens. According to Nikon, both autofocus and aperture should be controllable by the camera.
