Hi, I bought a Logitech vx nano cordless laser mouse a few years ago. Can I use the same USB transmitter/receiver for both keyboard & mouse? Are the receivers compatible for multiple devices (also for devices purchased a few years ago)?

Unifying receiver (USB dongle) is made for several devices that support this standard.
Why would anyone buy a wireless keyboard/mouse if they want to use it with a cable? *Head scratching
