In principle, an HDMI splitter can be used with this device to connect two consoles, but please note that the game recorder only has one HDMI input. This means that you cannot record the signal from two consoles simultaneously with an HDMI splitter, but can only actively select one console at a time on the splitter. The HDMI splitter splits the signal, but the device itself only processes one input for recording.

The device has one HDMI input and one HDMI output for passthrough, supports HDMI 2.0 and offers 4K60 HDR passthrough with very low latency, which is ideal for playing and recording from one console. An HDMI splitter can therefore be used to send the signal from one console to multiple displays, but not to record two consoles simultaneously.

A setup with two separate capture cards would be required to capture from two consoles at the same time.
