Yes, it works, but I would recommend a 32 inch monitor, because it offers much more picture content with 4K UHD and 3840 x 2160 pixels, e.g. this model here would be optimal and can also charge and transfer pictures, a 32 inch screen would also be less wide (only 71 cm vs 81 cm with a 34 inch device).
