Can you play your own content from DLNA in addition to services such as Spotify? MP3s that are on the NAS etc.? And do I need a FireTV Stick for the connection to the TV (in my case a 2019 model from LG) or is it possible without one?

Yes, it works with Synology Server. The skills of Alexa are decisive, whether they are supported. You would have to google whether a skill exists for your server. I can connect devices via Bluetooth for playback. If the TV can send Bluetooth, it should work.
