Hello, unfortunately I have to disappoint you. Since the March update of Google Home, the alarm function (or media alarm) is no longer available, it has been deactivated (if you google you will find many users who shout out in forums, I am one of them). You can only set the normal alarm sound. There is a workaround via the "Automations", i.e. you set a routine that always runs at 7:00 am, for example, and you can then give the command to play music from Youtube Music or Spotify. BUT, you can't do this using the actual voice control function and that's why you have Google Home after all. This means you have to go into the menu every evening to change the time. In addition, it first announces "ok, I'm now playing music from YouTube Music". But I don't want to be woken up with her babbling but with music.
I was so disappointed and angry with Google that I have now bought 3 Amazon Echos and have been trying them out for 2 weeks. I have 12 Google Home speakers in the house and I think I will replace them. I've always been a Google fan for years but Google Home was so much better 5 years ago than it is today... tragic. Today you can't control the volume of all speakers at the same time with voice control, no, you have to control each one separately (used to work wonderfully). There are many other things, e.g. during "Skip" she tells me that she is now going to the next song. I realise that because I asked for it, but you can't deactivate it. Unfortunately, there are a lot of annoying things like that. Alexa seems to have a better handle on some things. But unfortunately no YouTube Music, which suited me better than Spotify.
Amazon ECHO Show would be the comparison product from Amazon (and no, I don't have any Amazon shares :D)
