Hello,
Thank you for your enquiry.
The Samsung LC49G94TSSUXEN monitor is suitable for office work. You can split the screen into 2 different areas thanks to the Picture-by-Picture mode.
Kind regards from Schwalbach,

Hello
I have been using the screen in the office for about 4-5 weeks. On the one hand, I work with a Macbook Pro 2020 and a Dell Latitude 7390. Small note: I don't do any image editing, so I can only give feedback on everyday use.

I have connected the screen via DisplayPort to a Thunderbolt docking station - from there I connect the Dell or the Macbook.
The whole thing works wonderfully. If you would like to have the screen recognised as 2 monitors, you can connect it via 2 Displayport cables - then your operating system will recognise the left half as 1 monitor and the right half as the other.
The Dell cannot display the full resolution, but "only" 3840 x 1080. Nevertheless, the image is very sharp and perfect for working.
The Macbook Pro manages the resolution without any problems.

I opted for the curved instead of 2 x 27" and wouldn't change it again.
I find the possibility to place the window in the centre and still have applications open to the left and right of it super pleasant, especially for online meetings.

With the Display Fusion software, you can assign keyboard shortcuts so that windows are displayed in a certain size. I use this under Windows to place the windows on the left, centre and right at the touch of a button.

Keep in mind: If you have a lot of online meetings, you should either attach the screen so that it is split into two, so that you only share the left or right half - or you just share programme windows with your audience.

Hope this helped, otherwise just ask again :-)
